![]() Streets of Rage 2 is a must-play for anyone into the Beat ‘Em Up genre. Just to clarify things because there is a time where some people became like this and they comment even if they hate it.With stunning visuals, solid gameplay, and a then-advanced soudntrack pushing the Genesis console to its full capabilities. wishful thinking I don't expect all of that, it'd just be cool and work perfect. Maybe some of the ID Software team will come back and create a Multi-player DLC, but doubtful. makes one lose a little faith in their ability. Unfortunately to this point Bethesda and Avalanche have done a crummy job rolling these updates out as they cause a lot of damage with each one. So I hope Bethesda/Avalanche aren't lazy and add some extra content to this game because it is a great engine and sweet combat system. Rage 2 is one of the few games I currently like and will probably stick with until Doom Eternal and Dying Light 2 come out. If you hate the game, you don't need to comment on it.□ Originally posted by Eleson Tan84:I mean I like the game regardless of solo or online because I don't care what other people think of it since this discussion is just my opinion/reacting on the Ironman mode. because as of now everyone's progress is a secret, I wouldn't mind seeing how a few of my friends are doing and try to beat their scores. Maybe someone will Twitch themselves a "Fast-Run-Through" of themselves in Ironman mode and we can all watch it on YouTube one day. it's more an old school concept I suppose. That you want to just outdo yourself (and other is also fun), it reminds of of NES when someone said they "Shut their PC off" lol. Ironman mode is fun, it's more of a "Personal Best". If you've ever seen any of my comments online here you'd know I certainly do not hate this game, in fact I'm one of the few that defends it. Good idea, piss poor and lazy developing. Even if it was a board of "Ironman Ragers" that just simply listed "These players beat the game in Ironman Mode". They should have developed a Global Lead-Board, but they are too lazy. You won't receive Achievements (unless Steam has some nice ones lined up outside-game). ![]() ![]() ![]() Originally posted by servo:It's like Hardcore Mode in Diablo III. But still, what's the point of getting 75% through the game, or even beating it, if nobody is going to know about it. If they simply SKIP that nonsense in the beginning, and start you out The Phoenix (the part you leave and enter the World). I drove off the cliff once, then fell off once ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around, worst part is you have to replay the Vineland Intro. It's pointless in Rage 2, unless you want to get pissed off and "shut off the computer" when you die. It's a good idea, but what's the point if there isn't a Global Leader-board to see who's gotten the furthest? There is no points system, so it's not like people are playing towards achieving something they can "brag" about or be listed on a Leader-Board or something like Blizzard and every other game with similar modes has had. ![]()
